Rights & royalties

Rights, Royalties & Account Ownership

You stay in control of your book. This page explains exactly what that means in practice — copyright, royalties, account ownership, ISBNs, files, and final approval.

Copyright ownership

Your manuscript and story remain yours unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. We provide services; we do not take ownership of your work.

Royalties

Author-owned platform accounts mean royalties flow directly from the platform (Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, etc.) to you. We explain the royalty model before any setup.

Amazon KDP account ownership

We support author-owned KDP accounts. With your permission, we can work inside your account or guide you to do so yourself.

IngramSpark account ownership

Same principle: author-owned IngramSpark accounts whenever possible, with guided setup and metadata help.

ISBN / imprint policy

You can use your own ISBN (recommended for full control) or a platform-issued ISBN. Tradeoffs are explained before you decide.

Source files

Deliverable formats are agreed in writing. Editable source files are available per your service agreement.

Final approval

Nothing publishes without your sign-off. You approve covers, interiors, metadata, and launch decisions.

Distribution availability

We explain what KDP, IngramSpark, and other channels actually do — and what each platform's distribution reach realistically covers.

Platform disclaimer

Independent publishing support

Global Publishers House is an independent publishing support company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Amazon KDP or IngramSpark. Those platforms are mentioned only because we help authors prepare and submit files to them.
